Temmel forwarding fleet
Our modern forwarding fleet comprises around 140 vehicles, which cover an average of 70,000 kilometres every day. Part of it is purely electrically driven.
In addition, we consistently rely on non-fossil fuels for conventionally powered vehicles. At its own site, Temmel Forwarding uses only biodiesel - the ecological alternative to fossil fuels in mobility.
In this way, we assume a great responsibility not only for you as a customer, but also for our shared environment. This means that the forwarding company Temmel’s fleet of vehicles is ideally equipped to meet the challenges of the times.
We rely on re-use
The environment is close to our hearts. We continually demonstrate this through our measures and investments. In the spirit of "retrofitting”, we are now going one step further and also reusing old tractor units. For example, we converted a 10-year-old diesel semitrailer tractor with more than 850,000 kilometres under its belt to 100 percent electric drive. All components - from the engine to the tank - were removed and replaced by an electric motor with a new retard and a battery. For this achievement we were honoured with the EL-MO Award in Vienna.

Environmentally friendly and innovative on the road with the Temmel forwarding fleet
With our fleet of trucks, your goods are transported in an environmentally and climate-friendly way. Most of the vehicles comply with Euroclass 6 and the fleet is continuously upgraded with the latest emission class. Here, old diesel vehicles are converted to electric vehicles at our partner e-troFit in Ingolstadt. For us, however, innovation does not end with fuel. Using state-of-the-art technology such as ITBinder's MTrack tracking system, driving behaviour is monitored and analysed, and improved through ongoing training and education. This means that our drivers are also well equipped.
An eye on our truck fleet at all times
We stand for transparency and quality. That’s why every one of our transports is monitored by a satellite tracking system. Using these modern technologies, up-to-date information on the type and quantity of goods as well as the current position of the transport being carried out can always be retrieved without any problems, thus ensuring the current flow of information.

Klimaaktiv: Climate protection is a key concern for us. Due to our commitment, our company was awarded the klimaaktiv award. The Austrian Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism bestows the award on companies that make a significant contribution to CO2 reduction.

Film clip electromobility: In cooperation with us, E-troFit puts its first battery-electric truck for distribution traffic up to 26 tons on the road. The 10-year-old converted Mercedes Actros MP3 has been in practical testing with us for a few weeks. We take responsibility for climate protection with openness to technology!
